I promised family and friends that whenever there was an incident in Jerusalem that I would immediately post that I was ok and not a part of the incident. Ha-aretz is currently reporting the following . . . http://www.haaretz.com/hasen/spages/892131.html .
I am safe and sound preparing for Shabbat and seldom go to the Old City from 10 am to 2 pm on Friday when the warnings and terror alerts are usually the highest. In the interest of keeping perspective, this is the first such incident since I have been here -- making the town continually safer than the average US city of the same population.
My best to you all and a heartfelt Shabbat Shalom.

Well, thank your fortunes, anyway. I'm against retribution as a matter of principle and intellect, but as a matter of passion, I'd be obligated, in the event that anything happened to you, to extract a bit more than the usual pound of flesh from those who had so wronged you.
;^)
Glad to hear you're well, brother.
